Tactical Combat Casualty Care (for all combatants): The TCCC-AC course is designed for non-medical military personnel and includes first responder skills appropriate for non-medical personnel. The course focuses on the development of the skill sets (hemorrhage control, wound packing, airway protection, hypothermia prevention) necessary to perform life-saving interventions until medical personnel arrive.
This course is designed for non-medical personal (i.e. Law Enforcement, EMS providers, first responders, sport shooters, hunters, Concealed Handgun License holders, hikers, construction workers who deal with powered equipment, etc). By understanding the basics of Tactical Combat Casualty Care, it becomes possible to render lifesaving procedures in traumatic situations (hunting/shooting incidents, construction injuries, motor vehicle accidents, etc).
This is an 8 hour course which provides a 4 year certification for successful course participants.
