Enhancing skills with courses in TECC, TCCC, Stop The Bleed and CPR.

Do you have the knowledge to save your life or that of someone else? It doesn’t matter if the life-threatening bleeding is the result of an active shooter incident, a terrorist incident, or a motor vehicle accident. The lifesaving interventions that make the difference between life and death are the same!!
When seconds count, professional help is minutes away.
· Do you realize that it only takes 3 minutes to bleed to death?
· Did you know that improvised tourniquets (a tied shirt, a wrapped shoelace or electrical cord) have a 100% failure rate?
Only with the proper training and equipment is a person able to apply the correct emergency technique in the correct life-threatening situation.
The unfortunate reality is that bystanders are the first to respond to any type of event or accident. With this course, you will learn the techniques to help the wounded, thereby becoming that all important First Care Provider.
Our courses are designed to teach you how to evaluate scene security, when to apply the emergency medical treatments, and how to use emergency medical tools (tourniquets, wound packing).
The correct medical intervention at the correct time leads to increased survival. The correct medical treatment at the wrong time leads to increased casualties and decreased survival.
Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) and Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (TECC) are the recognized standards for lifesaving trauma management in a high-stress environment. It prepares individuals to act decisively in the critical minutes before advanced medical care becomes available, emphasizing control of life-threatening bleeding and chest injuries.

Our educational content is approved by CoTECC and the International Board for Specialty Certifications (IBSC) recognizes our program for the recertification of tactical medics. Our course is valid for the novice and veteran alike, from first responder to emergency physician, as everyone has a role to play in every circumstance. Our program is residency-based with lodging and meals provided since most days run for 12 hours. We have offered this continually-evolving course annually since 1987.
Based on the life saving principles of TCCC, TECC, Stop the Bleed, CPR and Blood Borne Pathogens, the course can be designed to meet the goals of your team taking into account any special time constraints and security needs. The training can be customized to meet the specific needs of your staff with an emphasis on practical, hands-on instruction. Recommendations for equipment specific to the team's needs with training on that specific equipment is done through skill stations and customized scenarios.
NAEMT: The purpose of the First on the Scene (FOTS) course is to prepare the public to help those who are injured and save lives until EMS arrives. The target audience for this course is the general public, which may include high school and college students.
Communities across the country and around the world recognize the need to prepare their citizens to respond to the injured until EMS can arrive on the scene. Whether from natural or manmade disasters, active shooter events, or other incidents at which serious injuries or illnesses occur, increasing the awareness and preparedness of the general public on what to do until EMS can respond is recognized as a valuable aspect of community resilience and is encouraged and promoted by government agencies at the local, state, national, and international levels.

When seconds matter, EMS and police are minutes away. The average response time in an urban area can be as long as 30 minutes. Unfortunately, it is possible to bleed to death in 3 minutes.
Are you prepared to save yourself, a loved one, or that injured stranger?
